Within
this hall you shall find the halls of sculpture, painting , architecture,
literature, the minor arts, and the members gallery. Here are presented the
arts of the Romans. The rooms, as you see are painted black in the fashion
so popular in Rome just now. It is used quite sparingly in Rome as it is so
prohibitively expensive to produce, but here the entire gallery is lavishly
painted in this most costly color thanks to so many generous patrons of the
Museion. Enjoy your visit. Rome has contributed much to out culture. Her feats
of enineering are still unsurpassed.
